Wild Spirit Safari offers relaxed, water-based safaris in Botswana’s Okavango Delta. Travel quietly by mokoro as you glide through channels and lagoons, getting close to wildlife from a unique water-level view.
Each journey is calm and unhurried, allowing you to truly experience the Delta. Days are spent on the water with time for fishing, swimming, or guided walks on nearby islands and floodplains. Evenings are enjoyed back at camp under open skies, gathered around the fire and listening to the natural sounds of the Delta.
Meet Your Host
Fred is the professional guide and co-owner of Wild Spirit Safari, with a lifelong connection to the waterways and wilderness of the Okavango Delta. He has worked in the safari industry since the age of 18 and brings 28 years of hands-on experience to every journey.
His guiding style is calm and thoughtful, shaped by decades spent in nature. Known for his local knowledge and quiet confidence, Fred leads unhurried, personal safaris that allow guests to slow down and truly connect with their surroundings.
He believes the most meaningful experiences come from respect for the environment, close attention to detail, and genuine human connection.

Mokoro Safari
A water-based safari through the Okavango Delta, where guests travel by traditional mokoro and stay at Camp Buffalo in the NG32 concession, exploring Delta channels and islands, enjoying fishing and swimming in safe areas, and learning the art of poling a mokoro.
Mobile Safari
A land-based safari through the wildlife-rich Moremi Game Reserve, featuring daily game drives in open safari vehicles led by a professional guide, with evenings spent at a fully serviced mobile camp in carefully selected wilderness locations.
Combination Safari
A diverse safari experience combining a mokoro adventure in the Okavango Delta with an exciting mobile safari through Moremi Game Reserve, offering water- and land-based wildlife encounters, with the option to extend the journey into Chobe National Park.
Bookings are open for all adventures from 1 February to 30 November 2026 – the official safari season.

WHERE DO WE OPERATE?
We operate Mokoro Safaris in the NG32 concession, north of Daunara village, and Mobile Safaris across the Moremi and Chobe Nature Reserves
HOW MANY GUESTS CAN WE ACCOMMODATE?
We welcome all individuals and groups up to 9 guests, keeping each experience personal, comfortable and tailored for unforgettable safari moments
HOW LONG CAN GUESTS STAY?
Stay as long as you like! Mokoro and Mobile Safaris require a minimum of 2 nights 3 days, with flexible extensions based on your dream Itinerary
WHAT IS INCLUDED?
Every trip includes our professional guide, chef and camp team. All meals (light breakfast, brunch dinner), and water are also included. Extra drinks can be brought along of pre-arranged
DO WE TAKE SPECIAL REQUESTS?
Absolutely. From planning engagements to surprise moments, we happily go the extra mile to make your safari truly unique
Are drinks included? / Can I bring my own refreshments?
Soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, and additional refreshments are not included and can be requested in advance at an additional fee or may be brought by guests.

All our safari options include pick-up and drop-off at selected locations.
